Nonsuch Clean & Covid Control
Here at Nonsuch Bay, we’ve been working hard to ensure that we make all the changes necessary for your safety, serenity and seclusion while you stay with us. Located across 40 acres of rolling hills and ocean front gardens the property was built with social distancing in mind. However, in light of the Covid-19 concerns, we have renewed our focus on health, hygiene, sanitation and separation across the entire property. These updates include both the adults-only plunge pool suites located at Escape at Nonsuch Bay and the family oriented Residences at Nonsuch Bay.

Escape at Nonsuch Bay (Plunge Pool Suites) will continue to be All Inclusive (AI)

*Covid Testing & Screening Updates
For entry into Antigua: Fully vaccinated arriving passengers are not required to present a PCR/Rapid Antigen Test negative result to be permitted entry into Antigua and Barbuda, (unless they show symptoms of possible infection). Fully vaccinated passengers showing symptoms of possible infection may be required to submit to a RT PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 upon arrival at their
own expense.
For guests already on island: Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination is required for entry to the resort .
For departing guests: Access to rapid on-site Covid-19 antigen testing appointments, is available to All Inclusive Escape guests at a minimal cost for. For Room Only Residences guests, testing must be arranged independently, please see arrival FAQS for more.

Nonsuch Clean Certificate
- Using guidelines from local authorities and international partners, the Health & Safety team at Nonsuch Bay have established the Nonsuch Clean Certification standards.
- All common areas including lobby areas, restaurants, bars, pools and beaches will be cleaned and sanitized several times daily to these standards
- High-touch surfaces, high use items and frequently visited areas will be routinely disinfected and deep cleaned with advanced-grade disinfectant products that eliminate bacteria and viral pathogens
- Hand sanitizer dispensers will be available at check-in areas, washrooms, dining locations and other key areas to encourage guests to sanitize their hands regularly.
Social Distancing
- Use of all lobbies, restaurants, bars, pool areas, beach and watersports facilities and other public areas will be monitored by management and health and safety officials for capacity and proximity limitations.
- To encourage physical distancing behaviors, furniture in common areas may be rearranged or restricted to ensure a safe distance between guests.
- Guest briefings, resort activities and dining times may be staggered throughout the day or controlled via reservations
Our Offerings
Room Only: 1-3 Bed Suites/Apartments and Villas (Residences)
- Fully equipped self-catering 1, 2 or 3-bedroom apartments. (Please contact our reservations department if you have prior accommodations booked for Nonsuch Bay)
- Access to property amenities including beach locations, 2 large swimming pools, gardens
- Access by reservation only to 1 restaurant on property (Rokuni at Residences) – Open for lunch and dinner (separate charges apply)

Self Catering & Dining
Drift Restaurant at Escape is included as part of the all inclusive package for Escape Antigua guests. Bookings will be required for the Rokuni Restaurant for guests of both the “Room Only” Villas/Apartments at Residences and the Escape and applicable charges will apply.
- Dining services and times for Escape guests at the Drift Restaurant may be staggered throughout the day or controlled via reservations.
- There will be additional opportunities for private dining options such as floating pool options other in room offerings upon request (The Escape only).
- We will be increasing the use of disposable items, reducing unnecessary touch points and providing advanced training for staff in the safe execution of all dining offerings.
- The food and beverage locations and offerings across the property have always offered the highest in food safety and sanitation standards with lots of personal space. To ensure the safety of guests and staff, our team will continue to monitor and update our standard operating procedures and training protocols.
All Inclusive: Plunge Pool Suites (Escape)
- The All Inclusive plunge pool suites at The Escape will be assigned a professional and thorough housekeeping team that will deep clean and sanitize every aspect of the room at appropriate intervals.
- High-touch surfaces, high use items and frequently visited areas will be routinely disinfected and deep cleaned with advanced-grade disinfectant products that eliminate bacteria and viral pathogens.
- Dining at the Drift Restaurant will be included as part of the all inclusive package but will be subject to strict hygiene and distancing protocols
The Escape is the only resort on the Island where every unit includes a luxurious private plunge Pool with breathtaking views.
Nonsuch Bay Activities
- Reduced access to intimate services such as massages and other spa treatments
- Suspension of kid’s club services and activities
- No watersports and sailing services
- No excursions and trips to neighboring islands
What We’re Doing For Staff
Each Nonsuch Bay employee will undergo health and temperature checks at the start of their daily shifts, to screen for any visible symptoms of illness or distress.
- Daily briefings and checklists will be focused on ensuring that there are clear channels of communication and contact regarding any staff or guest concerns.
- Thorough sanitation processes will be enforced for staff areas along with standardized use of personal protective equipment such as masks and gloves.
- We will continue to enforce strict hygiene practices such as frequent washing of hands, as well as disinfecting of tools and operating equipment.
- Staff transportation, dining, and human resource programs will continuously be revised for adherence to these guidelines.
What To Expect When You Get To Antigua
The Government of Antigua and Barbuda continuously updates its travel advisories to ensure the continued safety of travelers and residents:
- All arriving passengers must be fully vaccinated and present a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken within four (4) days of their flight.
- RT-PCR tests for SARS-COV-2 must be done using a nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal swab by a medical professional. Rapid Tests and Home test kits are not valid for entry.
- Fully vaccinated passengers arriving with a negative PCR Test and staying at an approved/certified accommodation will not need to quarantine and may go on certified/approved tours, excursions, and visit stores, restaurants, etc.
- All arriving passengers must complete a Health Declaration Form and will be subject to screening and temperature checks by Health Authorities upon arrival in Antigua and Barbuda.
- All arriving passengers will be monitored for COVID-19 for periods of up to 14 days in accordance with the directions of the Quarantine Authority and the Quarantine (COVID-19) Guidelines. Visitors may be required to undergo testing for COVID-19 on arrival or at the hotel or place of lodging as determined by the Health Authorities.
- Arriving passengers with COVID-19 symptoms may be isolated as determined by Authorities.

The plunge pool suites at Escape at Nonsuch Bay create the perfect romantic atmosphere for sharing the seclusion with your soul mate. While the standalone apartments at Residences at Nonsuch Bay provide the perfect option for persons that prefer to purchase room only, arrange their own meals and live like a local.
